Reality TV Star "Dylan” from Making the Band Signs Record Contract With Indie Label Expat Records.

Dylan, who defeated more than 40,000 applicants to become one of the final 6 to be picked to make up the music group ‘Daband’, went on to attain Platinum success and global Television recognition. After the show's contractual end Dylan travelled on 2 award winning United States tours, numerous shows in the Caribbean and produced mixtapes which have been heard by tens of thousands of followers world-wide.

The Making The Band star has worked with a variety of music labels subsequent to his reality TV experience, but has now chosen to work with Expat Records to launch his premier official solo album (yet to be named), that is scheduled for release later this year.

Referring to the deal, Dylan stated "I’m excited to be working with Expat Records. I’m currently working on some great new material with some incredible producers and can’t wait to get my music out there".

Artist Bio.

Born in Brooklyn, NY to West Indian parents Dylan was influenced from very early on by both Caribbean and American cultures. Dylan went to school in New York and additionally in the Caribbean where he excelled tremendously, in particular in writing, where he demonstrated a deep well of natural talent in composition and prose. After being a selector and hiphop/reggae Dj for a few years, his love for crafting music took precedence. He found a neighborhood recording studio and recorded more than eighty tracks, sold demos and performed in showcases previous to his resolution to take his natural talent to a greater audience.
He tried out for the MTV reality show "Making the Band", and out of forty thousand people, he was chosen as 1 of six to form the group "Daband".
The group eventually went on to achieve Platinum success and international TV recognition. Following the show's contractual conclusion Dylan traveled on 2 very successful United States tours, an assortment of shows in the Caribbean and produced mixtapes that have been very well received by music lovers around the globe.

In August 2010 his newest mixtape "Let the Music Talk" was unveiled with minimal promotion and a moderate Facebook following of merely two thousand friends and fans,and was able to gain ten thousand eager fans within a single month, and left them yearning for more.
Now with a new, major alliance with Expat Records Dylan is currently developing new material for people to embrace and open their minds and hearts to the new sound of Dylan Dilinjah
